My Ph.D. research focused on understanding the interplay between aneuploid cells and the immune system. By utilising mass spectrometry and the Surfaceome database, I identified plasma membrane molecules differentially expressed between aneuploid and euploid cells. This study unveiled key molecules with a crucial role in the recognition and elimination of aneuploid cells by Natural Killer cells.
