Children in a year 5 class would surely have heard a lot about God, perhaps at home, in church, during catechesis as well as throughout their earlier years at school. The main aim of this dissertation is to see what year 5 students think about God. It focuses mainly on the way they portray Him and the image they have of Him. I came up with this idea during my past teaching practices, after given the opportunity to experience the way children speak about God. These experiences enabled me to realise that the way young children portray the image of God differs between a child and another.","abstract_html":"Presenting the image of God is surely not an easy task to do especially when dealing with children in a Primary class.
