The Figure of Adam in Rom 5:12-21 and 1 Cor 15:21-22, 45-49: The New Creation and Its Ethical and Social Reconfigurations

<p>The Adam and Christ antithesis in Paul resembles other Jewish interpreters of the story of the creation of man and of the fall that draw ethical implications. Yet Paul uniquelly interprets the story of the origins in an eschatological perspective that calls believers to transform their lives after the image of the new Adam Christ in order to attain the eschatological resurrection in Him.</p>
