As I continue to develop into a dynamic and evidence-based clinician, teacher and researcher, I appreciate the opportunities I have had on the professional doctorate, to work with a range of clients in different contexts. These have enabled me to evolve into a professional and ethical health psychologist, applying appropriate theories in practice, challenging my assumptions and increasing my self-efficacy as a reflexive scientist-practitioner. I have strived to gain work experience in a variety of settings and over the 4.5-year period have worked within the NHS, the charity sector, in industry, as a member of a public health committee and in my role as a teacher and trainer.
