Stereocontrolled synthesis of plant growth regulators Abscisic acid and Xanthoxin
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe project is concerned with the total synthesis of plant growth regulators related to abscisic acid (ABA). The biological activity of these plant growth regulators, ABA and Xanthoxin, and their derivatives is influenced by the stereochemistry of the double bond system in the side chain, the 2Z,4E-isomers being most potent.
