Abstract
dc:description.abstractIn recent years, although there are several methods designed to measure improvements in user experience through real-time emotion detection, the relationship between emotions and personality traits in self-adaptive software systems has not been deeply investigated. This study analyzes the possibility of implementing a software service capable of dynamically adjusting itself according to the emotional state and personality traits of users. For this purpose, pre-trained models focused on real-time emotion detection were used together with the BFI-2-S questionnaire to assess personality profiles. The experiment was conducted with 30 participants on the Neo Digital Skills platform, assessed using the User Experience Questionnaire. The results obtained reveal that self-tailoring has a significant positive impact on UX, highlighting improvements in the Attractiveness (from -0.81 to 1.69), Stimulation (from -0.73 to 1.78) and Novelty (from -0.62 to 2.02) dimensions. These findings suggest that personalization based on emotions and personality traits contributes to increase interaction, satisfaction and perception of innovation among users.
