Adaptación y propiedades psicométricas de la escala Resistance to Change (RTC-11)
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe objective of this research is to adapt and analyze the psychometric properties of the Resistance to Change Scale (RTC-11) of Boada-Cuerva et al. (2018) in a sample of 171 employees between 18 and 63 years old (58.5% males and 41.5% females) from private companies of Metropolitan Lima who have different levels of education and responsibility in their companies. In the psychometric analysis, validity evidence based on the test content was obtained through judges’ criteria, with the participation of 9 experts in change management. The results, followed by the application of a virtual form, showed validity evidence based on internal structure obtained through an exploratory factor analysis which demonstrated the unidimensionality of the RTC-11 scale. In addition, reliability evidence was collected using the omega coefficient, obtaining an accepted value of .82. Finally, scales were prepared using percentiles. In this way, it is considered that the test can be applied to populations with the characteristics delimited in the present study.
