It is the culmination of work I began in the Fall of 2020, when I arrived at the University of Lethbridge. The first book, No Yeah No I Know, combines hashtag-anaglyph titles and photographic images. The second book, What was said on the river, is a series of cyanotypes based on a poem I wrote of the same title. The third book is a series of magazine cover-like images that explores the graphic design of photos and single words, called Color Commentary. The essay is organized into two chapters: the first chapter addresses the theory I sought to understand regarding image-word relations.
