By taking a research-creation approach, I examine the process of co-designing an Open Educational Resource with faculty members and students. I also reflect on the implementation of non-disposable assignments to encourage students to engage with scholarly knowledge production, and how this impacts their relationship with knowledge in postsecondary education. Through this process of co-inquiry with both faculty and students, I examine how three concerns of accessibility in postsecondary education can be addressed using open educational practices. Throughout this thesis, I reflect on the challenges and successes of these practices and provide insight to interested practitioners on how open educational practices can be integrated into their own teaching.","abstract_html":"This thesis examines the incorporation of open educational practices into the teaching of Anthropology at a medium-sized, Canadian postsecondary institution.
