The crystal structures of α- and γ-[SF3][SbF6] are characterized for the first time along with that of [SF3][AsF6]. Preliminary results for the deoxofluorination of two ketones, carboxylic acids and an alcohol are being presented using [SF3][MF6] (M = Sb, As). Chemistry of WOF4 has been explored using SO2, [(CH3)4N][F] and a fluorinated aliphatic alcohol, CF3CH2OH. The products, i.e. WOF4∙SO2, [(CH3)4N][WOF5] and CH3CN∙WOF3(OCH2CF3) have been fully characterized by X-ray crystallography and Raman spectroscopy. Crystal structures of perfluorinated carboxylic acids and carboxylates of environmental concern are reported for the first time.
