Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>This poetry chapbook consists of 30 poems that examine the historical and current experiences of the Black community within America. Ligon displays his perspective on blackness and how it's perceived in a climate filled with racial and political tension, hence the name—"Black Lens."</p>
