Abstract

dc:description.abstract

As accessibility to publication for authors has increased with the internet's proliferation and writing guides have become more abundant, beginning writers are faced with a breadth of knowledge that is intimidating to consume in its entirety. Writing Strong Fiction: Influences of Point of View on Character serves as a critical analysis of the extant literature and provides a firm starting point for writers to enhance their knowledge of the craft. It synthesizes arguments from numerous professionals in creative writing to provide an expansive glance into the ins and outs of the interrelation between character and viewpoint, thereby strengthening the beginning writer's grasp of premiere concepts while simultaneously providing resource for further research.
