<p>This paper is a reflection of the dramaturgical thesis project performed at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. The Theatre Department's production of Kurt Well's <em>Street Scene</em> was a platform of the project. In this paper, I explore the dramaturgical process and the connection of the production to American Studies.</p>
