Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>Japanese American internment in the United States during World War II affected thousands of lives for generations yet it remains hidden in historical memory. The study of Japanese American internment provides a historical catalyst for research and introspection about democracy, citizenship, and constitutional rights in the hope that by understanding the past a dialogue can be established to prevent a recurrence.</p>
