The ethics of graduate planning students: how they stand against those of professional planners

This thesis compares graduate planning students' ethical views with those of practitioners. It examines the ethical attitudes of graduate planning students about their roles as planners and also about various substantive issues. Students' responses to a survey are compared to practitioners' responses discussed in prior research conducted by others. The results of this study will provide a better understanding of the ethical attitudes with which graduate planning students enter the field of planning. They will also provide information useful in developing curricula that will better prepare students for the ethical decisions they will confront when they become practitioners.
