Yield and quality of oat interseeded with berseem clover and sweetclover as an early season forage crop

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

lntercropping oat with legumes increases yield and quality of oat, although the exact contribution made by berseem clover and sweetclover (Melilotus officinalis Lam.) is unknown. Therefore, this study was initiated in May 1994 and repeated in 1995 to determine yield and quality at different growth stages of oat intercropped with berseem clover and sweetclover.
