Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of pregnant teenage mothers who were expecting their second child. Six pregnant teenage mothers were interviewed and asked to complete a number of questionnaires. Interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) of the interview transcripts demonstrated the four following super-ordinate themes: \"Being a good mum\", \"It's not easy but it's a case of having to cope\", \"Perceptions and misjudgements\", and, \"Building my life\".
