The kinematical behavior is discussed in particular in relation to their metallicities. For stars with metallicity -1.0<[Fe/H]<-0.4, the velocity distribution represent the thick disk population. We derived the luminosity function of thick disk using 1/V_{max} method. We found that the luminosity function in absolute magnitude of M_V=4-5 mag, agree well with the Luminosity function derived from the stellar initial function (Reyle & Robin 2001).
