Rheticus' Heliocentric Providence : a study concerning the astrology, astronomy of the sixteenth century

dc:description.abstractRheticus' engagement with Copernicus is discussed in the light of new documents. In particular it is shown that there were strong astrological motivations behind Rheticus' acceptance of the heliocentric theory.
