Feral: Forming an [Aggressive] Identity through the Use of Visual Narrative

<p>objects that we acquire and accumulate over the course of our lives are indicative of our persona and we try to define ourselves by what we surround ourselves with. Rarely are these objects created by those who own them, rather, they are pieces of someone else's creation, influenced by their own experience and opinions. While these objects may have little initial meaning, when they are internalized by the people who acquire them, they gain significance and become a reflection of one's own interests, opinions, and beliefs. They suggest how a person intends to be perceived both internally and externally. This thesis attempts to illustrate how imagery and narrative can be used to alter a person's persona as well as investigate how these narratives, and consequentially an identity, can change based on the medium and method in which they are presented.</p>
