CHICKS WERE FED ADLIBITUM HIGH ENERGY DIETS WITH SIMILAR CALORIE: PROTEIN RATIO, UP TO 7 WEEK OF AGE. HIGH AMOUNTS OF PLANT ORIGIN FATS (7% COTTON SEED OIL, 7% SUNFLOWER OIL AND 25%, 35% OR 40% FULL FAT SOYBEAN MEAL-FFSBM) WERE ADDED TO THE DIETS, IN COMBINATION WITH LYSINE (NO ADDITION, 20% OR 70% ABOVE REQUIREMENTS) OR WITH BIOTIN (400 MG/KG TO BIOTIN DEFICIENT DIETS).
