THE AIM OF CHAPTER 1 IS TO SPECIFY THE STRUCTURE DIFFERENTIALLY ROTATING WHITE DWARF BY EXTENDING CHANDRASEKHAR'S METHOD TO INCLUDE UP TO THIRD ORDER TERMS IN THE ROTATIONAL PERTURBATION PARAMETER.
