dc:descriptionFOR THE PURPOSE OF THE STUDY 120 FRESHLY EXTRACTED NONCARIOUS HUMAN PREMOLARS USED. ON THE BUCCAL SURFACE OF EACH TOOTH A CLASS V CAVITY PREPARED. THE CAVITIES RESTORED WITH THE FOLLOWING COMBINATION OF MATERIALS SILUX + UNFILLED RESIN, SILUX + SCOTCHBOND, SILUX + SCOTCHBOND 2, SILUX + EXPERIMENTAL BONDING AGENT, SILUX + TENURE, HELIOSIT + ADHESIT, HELIOS + EXPERIMENTAL BONDING AGENT AND KETAC FIL GLASS IONOMER RESTORATIVE MATERIAL. THE SPECIMENS AFTER THEIR RESTORATIONWERE PROCESSED TO THERMOCYCLING AND THEN REMAIN IN AN INDIA INK SOLUTION AT ROOM TEMPERATURE FOR SIX MONTHS. THE RESULTS OF THE STUDY SHOWED THAT ALL MATERIALS RESISTER MORE TO MICROLEAKAGE IN THE OCCLUSAL. THE OSTEINE-DENTIN CERVICAL MARGIN IS THE WEAK LOCATION TO THE MICROLEAKAGE OF THE RESTORATION. THE DENTIN BONDING AGENTS USED IN COMBINATION WITH THE COMPOSITES TENT TO REDUCE THE MICROLEAKAGE BUT DO NOT TO ELIMINATE IT.
