THE CONSTRUCTION OF THIS INSTRUMENT, WHICH IS BASED UPON THE TRANSIENT HOT WIRE PRINCIPLE, WAS IMPLEMENTED IN TWO STAGES. IN THE FIRST STAGE, A NEW COMPUTER CONTROLLED WHEATSTONE TYPE BRIDGE WAS DESIGNED AND ASSEMBLED. FOR THE HEAT SOURCE, TWO THIN PLATINUM WIRES WERE EMPLOYED.
