Abstract
dc:descriptionFOUR TYPES OF BUCKLING PROBLEMS OF COMPOSITE VON KARMAN PLATES ARE EXAMINED ANDSOLVED. A' PROBLEM: AN ELECTRIC VON KARMAN PLATE IS BOUNDED WITH A RIGID SURFACE. WE ASSUME THAT THE ACTION OF THE ABOVE SUPPORT ON THE PLATE IS A MULTIVALUED NONMONOTONE FUNCTION. B' PROBLEM: WE CONSIDER A LAMINATED PLATE CONSISTING OFTWO LAMINAE AND WE ASSUME, AS BEFORE, MULTIVALUED NONMONOTONE LAW FOR THE REACTIONS BETWEEN THE TWO PLATES. C' PROBLEM: WE CONSIDER AGAIN TWO LAMINATED VON KARMAN PLATES WITH UNILATERAL BOUNDARY CONDITIONS. THE CORRESPONDING ADHESIVE CONTACT REACTION- DISPLACEMENT LAW IS A NONMONOTONE MULTIVALUED FUNCTION. D' PROBLEM: WE EXAMINE THE EIGENVALUE PROBLEM OF TWO LAMINATED PLATES IN STRETCHING. THE CORRESPONDING SKIN EFFECTS ARE DERIVED FROM NONCONVEX CONTACT LAW BETWEEN THE TWO PLATES WHILE AT THE SAME TIME GENERAL MATERIAL LAW IS ASSUMED.
