ΕΠΙΔΡΑΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΠΑΡΟΥΣΙΑΣ ΤΟΥ ΧΑΛΚΟΥ ΣΤΟΝ ΠΕΡΛΙΤΙΚΟ ΚΑΙ ΜΠΑΙΝΙΤΙΚΟ ΜΕΤΑΣΧΗΜΑΤΙΣΜΟ ΤΩΝ ΧΑΛΥΒΩΝ
Abstract
dc:descriptionTHE EFFECT OF COPPER ON THE ISOTHERMALLY PRODUCED BAINITE OR PEARLITE WAS INVESTIGATED, IN COPPER BEARING STEELS, TO GAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF ROW COMMONSUBSTITUTIONAL SOLUTES INFLUENCE PEARLITIC TRANSFORMATION IT WAS FOUND THAT PRECIPITATES BELONGING TO THE PHASE E-CU EXISTED WITHIN THE PROEUTECTOID PHASES EITHER THE PROEUTECTOID CEMENTITE OR THE PROEUTECTOID FERRITE. WITHING PEARLITESTHE PRESENCE OF SMALL E-CU PRECIPITATES WAS FOUND WITHIN BOTH PEARLITIC FERRITE AND WITHIN PEARLITIC CEMENTITE E-CU PRECIPITATES WITHIN PEARLITIC CEMENTITE ARE OF THE INTERPHASE TYPE AND ARE FORMED ON THE MOVING PEARLITIC CEMENTITE:AUSTENITE INTERPHASE BOUNDARIES. WITHIN PEARLITIC FERRITE E-CU PRECIPITATES BELONG TO TWO FAMILIES OF PARTICLES. INTERPHASE PRECIPITATES OF E-CU FORMED ON THE MOVING FERRITE :AUSTENITE INTERPHASE BOUNDARIES AND E-CU PRECIPITATES FORMED DUE TO AGEING OF THE SUPERSATURATED FERRITE. DURING ISOTHERMAL BAINITIC TRANSFORMATION THERE IS ABSENCE OF ANY COPPER PRECIPITATION BOTH WITHIN BAINITIC FERRITE AND WITHIN BAINITIC CEMENTITE. COPPER IS PRESENT IN A SUPERSATURATED CONDITION WITHIN BAINITIC FERRITE BUT THERE IS ABSENCE OF ANY SUPERSATURATION OF COPPER WITHIN BAINITIC CEMENTITE.
