ΘΕΩΡΙΑ ΤΩΝ ΠΕΠΙΕΣΜΕΝΩΝ (SQUEEZED) ΚΑΤΑΣΤΑΣΕΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΕΦΑΡΜΟΓΕΣ ΣΤΗΝ ΚΒΑΝΤΙΚΗ ΟΠΤΙΚΗ
Abstract
dc:descriptionYUEN DEVELOPED, FROM THE MATHEMATICAL POINT OF VIEW, THE THEORY OF STATES THAT HAVE SQUEEZED NOISE IN THE ONE QUADRATURE COMPONENT AND CORRESPONDINGLY INCREASED IN THE OTHER (SQUEEZED STATES). IN THE PRESENT STUDY WE DEVELOPED FURTHER THE YUEN THEORY STUDYING THE SQUEEZED STATES IN THE Q-REPRESENTATION. ALSO WE DIDTHE SAME FOR THE NUMBER OPERATOR OF THE YUEN TYPE. WE PROVED THAT THE PARAMETRIC AMPLIFIER WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MODEL FOR THE PRODUCTION OF THE SQUEEZED STATES GIVES YUEN TYPE STATES. THE SAME HOLDS FOR THE TWO-PHOTON LASER. WE DEFINED THE GENERALIZED SQUEEZE OPERATOR PROVING THAT IT IS OF THE YUEN TYPE ANDWE FOUND ITS EIGENFUNCTIONS AND EIGENVALUES. WE STUDIED THE HARMONIC OSCILLATOR WITH TIME DEPENDENT MASS AND FREQUENCY IN THE HEISENBERG PICTURE, AND FOUND IT TO GIVE SQUEEZED STATES UNDER MINIMUM UNCERTAINTY CONDITIONS AND WE PROVED THAT THE SQUEEZE OPERATOR IS PROPORTIONAL TO THE MULTIPLICATION OPERATOR. THE JAYNES-CUMMINGS MODEL (J-C MODEL) IS OF HIGH IMPORTANCE FOR QUANTUM OPTICS BECAUSEIT DESCRIBES THE ELEMENTARY BOSE FERMI INTERACTION. IN THE PRESENT STUDY WE EXTENDED IT TO THE TWO- PHOTON GENERALIZED J-C MODEL WITH INTENSITY DEPENDENT COUPLING CONSTANT AND WE STUDIED THE TIME EVOLUTION OF THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE QUANTUM NOISE IN THE TWO QUADRATURE COMPONENTS. WE ALSO REFERED TO THE HIGHER ORDER SQUEEZING AND WE STUDIED IT IN THE ANARMONIC OSCILLATOR. FURTHER, WE DEVELOPED THE TOTAL FIELD THEORY SHOWING THAT THE TOTAL FIELD IS ESSENTIALLY AND AMPLITUDE MODULATED FIELD AND WE STUDIED THE HETERODYNING INTERFERENCE THEORY. WE ALSO STUDIED THE OFF-RESONANCE NONDEGENERATE PARAMETRIC AMPLIFIER AND UNDER WHICH CONDITIONS THERE IS QUANTUM NOISE SQUEEZING PHENOMENON.
