THE STRUCTURAL AND MAGNETIC PROPERTIESOF THESE SERIES ARE STUDIED AND THEIR TECHNOLOGICAL INTEREST AS PERMANENT MAGNET MATERIALS IS EXAMINED. SINGLE PHASE POLYCRYSTALLINE SAMPLES HAVE BEEN PREPARED BY SOLID STATE REACTION OF OXIDES AND CATIONATES. THE PURITY CONTROL AND CRYSTALLOGRAPHIC CHARACTERIZATION HAVE BEEN PERFORMED BY MEANS OF X-RAY DIFFRACTION. THE CURIE TEMPERATURE HAS BEEN OBTAINED FROM SUSCEPTIBILITY MEASUREMENTS OF HIGH TEMPERATURES. HIGH FIELD (UP TO 180 KOE) MAGNETIZATION MEASUREMENTS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED IN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE 4.2- 300K. A THOROUGH ANALYSIS OF THE MAGNETIZATION CURVES ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF APPROACH TO SATURATION PROVIDED THE VALUES OF SATURATION MAGNETIZATION (MO), ANISOTROPY FIELD (HA) AND SUPERIMPOSEDSUSCEPTIBILITY (X). THE RESOLUTION OF THE CRYSTAL AND MAGNETIC STRUCTURES HAS BEEN ACHIEVED BY MEANS OF NEUTRON DIFFRACTION AT HIGH (500 C) AND LOW (4.2K) TEMPERATURES. THE NATURE AND VALENCY OF THE CATIONS IN EACH SUBLATTICE, THE EXACTCOMPOSITION AND CHEMICAL FORMULA AS WELL AS THE MAGNETIC STRUCTURE (I.E.
