ΡΥΘΜΙΣΗ ΤΩΝ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΕΙΑΚΩΝ ΦΟΡΤΙΩΝ ΚΑΤΑΛΥΤΙΚΩΝ ΦΟΡΕΩΝ ΜΕ ΤΗ ΧΡΗΣΗ ΤΡΟΠΟΠΟΙΗΤΩΝ
Abstract
dc:descriptionTHE DOPING OF Γ-AL203 AMOUNTS OF SODIUM, LITHIUM AND FLUORIDE IONS WAS USED FORREGULATING THE ZERO POINT OF CHARGE (ZPC), SURFACE ACIDITY CONSTANTS AND THE CONCENTRATION OF THE CHARGED SURFACE GROUPS, DETERMINED POTENTIOMETRICALLY, OVERA WIDE PH RANGE. THE ADSORPTION OF IONIC SPECIES CONTAINING THE CATALYTICALLY ACTIVE IONS MO(VI), CO(II) AND NI(II), ON THE SURFACE OF PURE Γ-AL2O3 AND THE DOPED CARRIERS HAS BEEN STUDIED. CONCERNING THE ADSORPTION OF THE MO(VI), CO(II)AND NI(II) IONIC SPECIES IT WAS FOUND THAT THE FOWLER-GUGGENHEIM EQUATION, MODIFIED TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE FACT THAT THE ADSORPTION TAKES PLACE ON CHARGED SURFACES, DESCRIBES QUITE WELL THE ISOTHERMS ACHIEVED. THIS SHOWS THE PRESENCE OF NON NEGLIGIBLE LATERAL INTERACTIONS BETWEEN THE ADSORBED SPECIES. THIS STUDYCLEARLY SHOWED THAT THE MODIFICATION ON Γ-AL2O3 WITH NA+, LI+ OR F- IONS IS A VERY FINE METHOD IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE ADSORPTIVE CAPACITY OF THIS CARRIERS FOR NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE IONIC SPECIES. THEREFORE, IT CAN BE USED FOR THE PREPARATION OF SUPPORTED CATALYSTS WITH HIGH ACTIVE SURFACE.
