THE RATIO R/P 2,25. THUS THE CHLORIDIC CHARACTER IS RATHER NORTHERN MODERATE. THE RESEARCH ALSO INCLUDED THE SEASONAL PERIODICITY AND THE ANNUAL FLUCTUATION OF THE DIFFERENT BENTHIC MACROALGAE WITH A MAXIMUM BIOMASS DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.15 PHYTOCOMMUNITIES WERE RECOGNIZED IN HARD SUBSTRATES AND 3 IN SOFT ONES. THREE (3) OF THE HARD PHYTOCOMMUNITIES BELONG TO THE NITRIPHILES WHICH GROW IN POLLUTED AREAS. THE CHLORIDIC ELEMENTS WHICH ARE OUTSTANDING ARE THE ENDEMIC MEDITERRANEAN ONES.
