IN THE 1ST CHAPTER, AT THE BEGINING, A REVIEW OF THE OLDER THEORIES (UNTIL 1960) IS GIVEN. THEN, THE MODERN IDEAS ARE GIVEN, AS WELL AS THE RECENT PROPOSITIONS FOR THEIR IMPROVEMENT. THE GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PARAMETERS OF THE HARMONICANALYSIS ALL OVER THE WORLD ARE ALSO GIVEN. IN THE SECOND CHAPTER, AT THE BEGINING, ARE SHOWN THE RESULTS OF HARMONIC ANALYSIS FOR GREECE AND THEIR STATISTICAL ASSESMENT. THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE HARMONIC PARAMETERS IS STUDIED OVER LAND AND SEA. FOR GROUPS OF STATIONS WITH COMMON CHARACTERISTICS, THEIR ANNUAL BEHAVIOUR IS STUDIED. THE RESULTS ARE EXTENDED USING THE TOTAL SOLAR RADIATION, THE HUMIDITY OF THE TROPOSPHERE, THE LATENT HEAT OF CONDENSATION AND MANY LOCAL PHENOMENA. THE RELATION BETWEEN SEA BREEZE AND 1ST HARMONIC IS EXAMINED. FINALLY THE VARIATION OF DAILY MARCHING OF PRESSURE WITH ALTITUDE IS STUDIED. IN THE 3RDCHAPTER, WE LOOKED FOR CLIMATIC TRENDS IN THE COMPONENTS OF PRESSURE FOR THE DATA OF NATIONAL OBSERVATORY OF ATHENS (1901-82). WE TRY TO SEE A SIMILAR BEHAVIOUR IN TEMPERATURE AS WELL AS IN OZON MEASUREMENTS.
