Η ΣΤΑΤΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΜΕΘΟΔΟΛΟΓΙΑ ΠΟΥ ΕΠΙΛΕΧΘΗΚΕ ΓΙΑ ΤΗΝ ΑΝΑΛΥΣΗ ΤΩΝ ΑΠΟΤΕΛΕΣΜΑΤΩΝ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΕΚΕΙΝΗ ΤΗΣ ΑΝΑΛΥΣΗΣ ΔΙΑΚΥΜΑΝΣΗΣ- ΣΥΝΔΙΑΚΥΜΑΝΣΗΣ. ΑΠΟ ΤΑ ΑΠΟΤΕΛΕΣΜΑΤΑ ΜΑΣ ΠΡΟΚΥΠΤΕΙ ΟΤΙ FEV, FVC ΚΑΙ FVC% ΤΟΥ ΠΡΟΒΛΕΠΟΜΕΝΟΥ ΠΑΡΟΥΣΙΑΖΟΥΝ ΤΙΜΕΣ ΣΤΑΤΙΣΤΙΚΑ ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΑ ΧΑΜΗΛΩΤΕΡΕΣ ΣΤΑ ΠΑΙΔΙΑ ΠΟΥ ΖΟΥΝ ΣΤΗΝ ΠΕΡΙΟΧΗ ΥΨΗΛΗΣ ΡΥΠΑΝΣΗΣ (Ρ<0.0001).
