DOSIMETRIC DATA WITH LIF THERMOLUMINSCENT DOSIMETRES SHOWED THAT THE EFFECTIVE EQUIVALENT DOSE OF THE EXAMINATION IS 370 MSV SERIES OF EXPERIMENTS WITH VARIOUS PHANTOMS, INVESTIGATED THE SOURCES OF ERRORS CONCERNING THE ACCURACY AND THE PRECISION OF THE TECHNIQUE . 618 BMD MEASUREMENTS WERE PERFORMED IN 495 SUBJECTS 219 OF THEM WERE NORMAL VOLUNTEERS 28-70 YEARS IN AGE. BMD DATA WERE OBTAINED FROM DIFFERENT SUB-GROUPS OF PATIENTS WHOSE CLINICAL PROBLEMS ARE RELATED WITH OSTEOPENIA.
