ΜΕΛΕΤΗ ΤΟΥ ΜΟΝΤΕΛΛΟΥ HUBBARD ΓΙΑ ΕΛΚΤΙΚΑ ΔΥΝΑΜΙΚΑ ΜΕΤΑΞΥ ΤΩΝ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΝΙΩΝ
Abstract
dc:descriptionWE STUDIED THE ONE-DIMENSIONAL HUBBARD MODEL WITH ATTRACTIVE ON SITE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN ELECTRONS BY USING THE PERIODIC ONE- BODY SELF CONSISTENT STATIC APPROXIMATION. OUR RESULTS ARE IN GOOD AGREEMENT WITH THE EXISTENT MANY-BODY RESULTS, FOR NUMBER OF ELECTRONS PER LATTICE SITE, TAKING ALL VALUES FROM 0 TO 2. WEFIND AN ENERGY GAP AT THE FERMI LEVEL AND A LOWER ENERGY THAN THAT OBTAINED BYTHE USUAL HARTREE-FOCK APPROXIMATION. FOR ELECTRON-ELECTRON INTERACTIONS BETWEEN ATOMIC AND METALLIC LIMITS (0<IUI/V,+ ), OUR METHOD IS SUCCESSFULLY APPLIED.RELAXING THE STATIC CHARACTER OF THE APPROXIMATION TRANSFORMS THE PART OF HUBBARD HAMILTONIAN, DESCRIBING "LATTICE EXCITATIONS", TO AN EQUIVALENT ANISOTROPICHEISENBERG HAMILTONIAN. THE RESULTING CONNECTION BETWEEN MAGNETISM THEORY SUPERCONDUCTIVITY AND CHARGE DENSITY WAVES, CONTRIBUTES TO THE UNIFIED UNDERSTANDING OF THESE IMPORTANT PHENOMENA. FOR THE SPECIAL CASE OF 1 ELECTRON PER LATTICESITE THE EQUIVALENT HEISENBERG HAMILTONIAN WAS STUDIED. THE RESULT IS THAT OURONE-DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM IS NEITHER IN SUPERCONDUCTING STATE NOR IN CHARGE DENSITY WAVES STATE.
