SAMPLES FROM THE COAST OF SARONIC GULF WERE TRANSFERED TO THE LABORATORY WITH VARIOUS SAMPLING PROCEDURES (EXPOSED/PROTECTED TO AIR TEMPERATURE, SOLAR RADIATION). THE EFFECT OF SOLAR RADIATION REDUCES THE ORIGINAL NUMBER OF COLIFORMS 2,1-2,86 TIMES OF AIR TEMPERATURE 1,67-1,74 TIMES. THE CORRESPONDING REDUCTION IN FACIAL COLIFORMS IS 2,45-3.37 AND 1,62-1,95. THE TIME (T) DID NOT SIGNIFICANTLYEFFECT OF THE ORIGINAL NUMBER OF MICROBES IN THE SAMPLE POSSIBLE CORRELATION WERE EXAMINED BETWEEN THE MICROBE- INDICATIONS OF SEWAGE POLLUTION AND FACTORS OF SEA WATER. IT WAS CONCLUDED A POSITIVE CORRELATION BETWEEN MICROBES AND WATERTEMPERATURE, NEGATIVE CORRELATION BETWEEN MICROBES AN THE PH; NO STATISTICALLYSIGNIFICANT CORRELATION BETWEEN MICROBES AND DISSOLVED OXYGEN. POSITIVE CORRELATION BETWEEN MICROBES AND CHLOROPHYL.
