Abstract
dc:descriptionA NEW DYNAMIC MODEL HAS BEEN PRESENTED FOR ANAEROBIC DIGESTION PROCESS IN THERMOPHILIC REGION (50-55 C). THE THREE KEY FEATURES OF THIS NEW MODEL ARE: 1) USE OF PATTERN OF PATHWAYS FROM A GROUP OF SIMPLE BIOREACTIONS, 2) CONSIDERATION OFSUBSTRATE BIODEGRADATION BY WAY OF LOWEST ENERGY UTILISATION, 3) ASSUMPTION OFBIOLOGICAL GROWTH KINETICS THAT IS BASED ON MODIFICATIONS OF THE MONOD EQUATION, AND FREE ENERGY OF THE OVERALL BIOREACTIONS. THE MODEL IS TESTED IN A CHEMOSTATIC SUBSTRATE OF COMPOSITION BY A COMPUTER SIMULATION PROGRAM AND IS PROVED THE GOOD PERFORMANCE OF THE MODEL IN PREDICTION OF THE REAL RESULTS.
