ΣΥΣΤΗΜΑΤΑ ΔΙΑΓΝΩΣΗΣ ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΑΣ ΣΕ ΝΑΥΤΙΚΕΣ ΜΗΧΑΝΕΣ DIESEL
Abstract
dc:descriptionTHIS DISSERTATION DESCRIBES THE METHOD DEVELOPED TO ESTIMATE THE OPERATIONAL BEHAVIOUR OF DIESEL ENGINE UNDER FAULT AND IDENTIFY THE FAULT WHEN THE DIESEL ENGINE OPERATIONAL CONDITION IS KNOWN. THIS DIAGNOSTIC METHOD BASED ON THE COMPARISON WITH CHARACTERISTIC CONSTANTS WHICH DESCRIBE THE GEOMETRY OF ENGINE AND AREINDEPENDENT OF ENGINE SPEED AND LOAD. THE IDENTIFICATION OF CONSTANTS DERIVE FROM THE FITTING OF A MODEL THAT DESCRIBES THE DIESEL BEHAVIOUR WITHOUT FAULT-LIKE THE REFERENCE ENGINE CONDITION ON SHOP OR SEA TRIALS WITH A SPECIAL DEVELOPED ALGORITHM NAMED "STEP BY STEP APPROACHING DIESEL ENGINE OPERATIONAL MODEL". THE DIAGNOSTIC METHOD IS APPLIED ON A CERTAIN ENGINE AS FOLLOWS: A) ON SHOP/SEA TRIALS RESULTS OF THE ENGINE UNDER NON FAULT CONDITION. B) ON THE SAME ENGINE UNDER TEST CONDITION. THE DERIVED TWO SETS OF CONSTANTS ARE DIRECTLY COMPARED THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO SETS IDENTITY THE TYPE AND MAGNITUDE OF THE FAULTS IF ANY UNDER TEST CONDITION. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAULT AND CONSTANTS IS PROVED EXPERIMENTALLY . THE DIAGNOSTIC METHOD WAS DEMONSTRATED IN THIS DISSERTATION ON ONE SRND68 SULZER TWO STROKE ENGINE ON SHIP AND ONE ON DIESEL POWER STATION TYPE GMT-FIAT-CRDA A420.8. ALL MEASUREMENTS WERE TAKEN WITH A SPECIALLY DEVELOPED PORTABLE DATA AQUISITION SYSTEM.
