dc:descriptionIN THIS WORK THE PLANE ELASTOSTATIC PROBLEM OF A RIGID CURVILINEAR INCLUSION BONDED IN AN ELASTIC MATRIX WITH A CRACK ALONG THE INTERFACE IS SOLVED. THE ASYMPTOTIC FORM OF THE STRESS FIELD IN THE VICINITY OF THE CRACK TIP IS DERIVED AND THE BRITTLE FRACTURE OF THE BIMATERIAL SYSTEM IS STUDIED.
