ΜΕΛΕΤΗ ΣΥΝΑΓΩΝΙΣΜΟΥ PN/D ΣΕ ΠΥΡΗΝΙΚΕΣ ΑΝΤΙΔΡΑΣΕΙΣ-ΜΗΧΑΝΙΣΜΟΙ ΑΝΤΙΔΡΑΣΕΩΝ (6LI, D)
Abstract
dc:descriptionTHE COMPETITION BETWEEN A PROTON-NEUTRON PAIR AND A DENTERON WHICH ARE EMITTEDIN A HEAVY-ION NUCLEAR REACTION, PRODUCING THE SAME RESIDUAL NUCLEUS HAS BEENMEASURED IN 13 NUCLEAR REACTIONS AT DIFFERENT BOMBARDING ENERGIES. THE EXPERIMENTAL METHOD EMPLOYED IN THESE MEASUREMENTS CONSISTS OF DETECTING CHARGED LIGHT PARTICLES IN COINCIDENCE WITH ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION. WITH THIS METHOD THE RATIO OR THE RELATIVE CROSS SECTIONS FOR (PN) AND (D) EMISSION IS MEASURED.STATISTICAL TREATMENT OF THE EXPERIMENTAL RATIOS 6PN/6D IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE ENERGY QUANTITY ECM+QPN PROVIDED FOR THE FIRST TIME A PHENOMENOLOGICAL EQUATION WHICH IS THE SAME FOR ALL THE REACTIONS. THIS ORIGINAL BEHAVIOUR EXPLAINED THEORETICALLY WITH THE HANSER- FESHBACH ESTIMATION OF THE PARTIAL CROSS SECTIONS USING COMPOUND NUCLEUS THEORY. WE USED THE ABOVE RESULTS IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY THE MECHANISM OF THE COMPLICATED REACTION 16O(6LI,D). THE STUDY OF 6PN/6DRATIO FOR THIS REACTION INDICATES THAT UNTIL 16 MEV BOMBARDING ENERGY IT PROCEEDS THOUGHOUT THE FORMATION OF COMPOUND NUCLEUS, BUT AT HIGHER ENERGIES THE MECHANISM OF DIRECT REACTION ALSO APPEARS IN AN INCREASING AMOUNT WITH INCREASING BOMBARDING ENERGY.
