ΜΕΘΟΔΟΙ ΜΕΤΑΤΡΟΠΩΝ ΚΩΔΙΚΑ ΔΙΑΜΟΡΦΩΣΗΣ ΔΕΛΤΑ ΓΙΑ ΤΗ ΒΕΛΤΙΩΣΗ ΚΑΙ ΑΠΛΟΥΣΤΕΥΣΗ ΤΗΣΕΠΕΞΕΡΓΑΣΙΑΣ ΣΗΜΑΤΩΝ
Abstract
dc:descriptionCONVERSION RATE AND CONVERSION CODE METHODS FOR DELTA MODULATED (DM) SEQUENCESARE PROPOSED IN THIS THESIS. WITH THE RATE CONVERSION METHOD A LINEAR DM (LDM) SEQUENCE CAN BE PROCESSED BY A DM SEQUENCES FILTER CLOCKED AT A HIGHER RATE THAN THAT OF THE INPUT SEQUENCE. THE FILTER OUTPUT IS A LDM SEQUENCE OF THE HIGHER RATE, BUT OF NEGLIGIBLE QUANTIZATION NOISE DUE TO THE FILTER OPERATIONS. A SIMPLE DIGITAL NETWORK, A "RATE CONVERTOR", CAN RESTORE THE RATE OF THE FILTER OUTPUT SEQUENCE TO THAT OF THE INPUT SEQUENCE. WITH THE CODE CONVERSION METHOD, AN ADAPTIVE DM (ADM) SEQUENCE CAN BE CONVERTED TO AN EQUIVALENT LDM SEQUENCE BY A SIMPLE PROPOSED NETWORK. THE RESULTING SEQUENCE CAN BE PROCESSED BY A DM SEQUENCE FILTERS, FROM THOSE WHICH HAVE BEEN PROPOSED IN THE PAST. THE FILTER OUTPUT SEQUENCE IS A LINEAR DM ONE, BUT THIS CAN BE CONVERTED BY A SIMPLE, ALSO PROPOSED, NETWORK TO AN EQUIVALENT ADM SEQUENCE. A NOVEL GENERATOR OFRAMP SIGNALS ENCODED IN LDM SEQUENCES IS THE BASIC SUGGESTED NETWORK FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF THE CODE CONVERTORS. SIMPLE, LOW COST AND WITH EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE ADM CODER HAS BEEN DESIGNED WITH THE AID OF THE ABOVE ADM TO LDM CONVERTER.
