ΣΥΜΒΟΛΗ ΣΤΗ ΜΕΛΕΤΗ ΤΗΣ ΤΡΙΓΛΥΚΕΡΙΔΙΚΗΣ ΣΥΣΤΑΣΗΣ ΤΩΝ ΕΛΑΙΩΝ. ΣΥΓΚΡΙΣΗ ΜΕ ΤΙΣ ΘΕΩΡΙΕΣ ΤΗΣ ΤΡΙΓΛΥΚΕΡΙΔΙΚΗΣ ΣΥΣΤΑΣΗΣ
Abstract
dc:descriptionTHE PURPOSE OF THIS WORK IS TO FIND OUT THE TRIGLYCERIDE COMPOSITION OF VARIOUS VEGETABLE OILS, AND COMPARE THE FINDINGS WITH THE EXISTING THEORIES OF DISTRIBUTION OF FATTY ACIDS IN THE MOLECULES OF GLYCEROL. AT FIRST, THE AMOUNT OF THE SATURATED FATTY ACID (3), AND THE TRISATURATED TRIGLYCERIDES (S3) WERE DETERMINED AND THUS BASED OF THIS FINDING THE T.G COMPOSITION OF THE OIL WAS CALCULATED. THE T.G WERE ISOLATED BY ARGENTATIONS CHROMATOGRAPHY (T.L.C), THE SEPARATION HAS BEEN MODIFIED BY USING DIFFERENT AMMONIACAL SILVER NITRATE SOLUTION.THE DETERMINATION OF T.G WAS BASED ON HYDROXYTAMMOLYSIS. AFTER HYDROXYLAMINOSIS THE T.G WERE DETERMINED SPECTROPHOTOMETRICALLY 530 N.M. THE NUMBER OF TYPES OF T.G OF LINSEED, COTTON AND SOYA BEAN OILS VARIES BETWEEN 7 AND 10 WHILE OLIVE OIL ONLY 4-5 TYPES WERE FOUND. THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE FATTY ACIDS IN THEMOLECULES OF GLYCEROL WAS IN AGREEMENT WITH THE THEORY OF RANDOM DISTRIBUTIONAND THEORY OF RULE OF DISTRIBUTION OF TYPE- GLYCERIDE PROVIDED THE TYPES OF F.A WERE MORE THAN (3) E.G (S.O.L.M.).
