According to Newton, whenever objects A and B interact with each other, they exert forces upon each other. In this thesis I suggest that in art the artist and the audience both exert forces. However, sometimes both think they are in control of the action and/or reaction. I am exploring “control” in interactive and performance audio and video art. Every action that the audience member takes causes a reaction on the computer screen in real time.
