The use of liquid-chromatography mass spectrometry for the absolute quantitation for bio-analytes: fro small molecular mass compounds towards larger molecular mass proteins
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe use of lc-MS/MS was investigated for the absolute quantitation of the small molecular mass compounds pyrimethamine/sulfamethoxypyrazine and glycopyrrolate. Moreover, also for the larger molecular mass protein cystatin C was mass spectrometry investigated for its absolute quantitation. This, by means of marker peptides. In this way, the larger molecular mass compound is diverted into a smaller molecular mass compound.
