The primary goal of this paper was to explore the relationships between openness, direct experience, social norms, attitudes, and willingness to use telepsychology among psychologists-in-training. The present study found that openness, social norms, and direct experience positively impact willingness. Furthermore, attitudes mediate social norms and direct experience. Psychologists-in-training who had direct experience indicated a greater willingness to use telepsychology. However, didactic training decreased psychologists-in-training's willingness to use telepsychology in future clinical practice. Implications and limitations are discussed.
