These complexes have been characterized and compared <br>by IR and NMR spectroscopy, 14 of them with single crystal structure analysis. <br>9 of the mononuclear tetrahedral N2S2 coordinated zinc complexes have been <br>investigated for the stepwise methylating reactions using the methylating <br>reagent iodmethane and trimethylphosphate. The result of the reactions indicates <br>that zinc-bound thiolates react with those methylating reagents.
