This instrument became a piggy-back payload on the Terrier-Orion SAMPLER 41.025 rocket payload launched from White Sands Missile Range in July, 2003. A photodiode detector array measured the mesospheric hydroxyl airglow emissions during the initial ascent as well as the vehicle induced glow through the mesopause at eight discreet bandpasses. Data collected shows moderate agreement with previous measurements by Murtagh et al. [1997] and Lopez-Moreno et al. [1985] over similar wavelengths.
