Abstract
dc:descriptionThis thesis comprises two parts: a creative component consisting of a first-draft script for a feature film, followed by an exegesis. The intention with the creative component was to work within the parameters of a low budget feature that is set in Perth and that makes use of a multi-strand narrative structure and extensive character development. The exegesis comprises a theoretical analysis of the creative component ‘Square Pegs’, and placing it within the context of an examination of feature film script development, in particularly multi-strand (or multi-plot) narrative structure, character development, individual storyline development and structure.
