dc:description.abstractWhile I was resident physician in the wards of the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, Dr. Chalmers Watson suggested I should study the injection of iodine intravenously. I chose twelve cases at random, and the following is an account of the preparation used; the technique; and the results.
