Abstract
dc:description.abstractA General Practitioner is not capable of scientific observation. He is easily prejudiced in favour of any new treatment, and has not the means at hand to test out results, using controls &c. But his greatest interest is in treatment. if any method: of treatment will relieve his patients of their suffering, either mental or physical, he is justified in adopting it.
