Toxaemia of pregnancy : etiology and pathology : with observations on three cases of eclampsia
Abstract
dc:description.abstractIt will be impossible to discuss the whole subject of metabolism in the space at my disposal. I shall present a very brief summary of the more impor tant facts which have a bearing on the subject under consideration. I shall demonstrate as far as possible a few of the normal products of metabolism and their source, the organ chiefly concerned in their excretion, also some of the causes that may produce excess of these normal products or lead to the formation of abnormal products.
